Research into Flashbacks

As a key element of my film is going to be the flashback scenes I figured it would be a good idea to do some research into them and how to successfully feature them within a movie. Below are just a small selection of some of the advice I came across.

Props and Costume

Before I start my filming I decided it would be beneficial to decide whether or not I needed any props or costumes. I came to the conclusion that I would in fact need some however, they would be easily obtained.

It is also vital for my film to ensure that the main female actor is wearing the same clothing throughout the film when she is in present day and is wearing different clothing during the flashback scenes

Target A

To achieve my target my research, planning and evaluation must be detailed, effectively communicated and presented digitally, using a wide variety of formats. I need detailed
research into similar products and target audience and to show the process of planning by including excellent work on shotlists, drafts, storyboards, scripts, locations and props. I need to show full evidence of the research and planning informing the construction process.
My evaluation must reflect my excellent understanding of forms and conventions, an understanding of the use of new media throughout the stages of production, the way my ancillary and primary tasks combine effectively. There will be an excellent understanding of the significance of audience feedback.
My production work, across the formats, will demonstrates excellent creativity and imagination as I seek to make them as convincing as possible and it will also reflect my mastery
in technical skills such as controlled use of the camera, attention to framing, variety of shot sizes, close attention to mise-en-scène, appropriate transitions and use of sound.
